Hi, my name is Mya Pridgen. I’m an Oklahoma native and a proud dog mom to my bully Mercury. My deepest passion is Biology, and learning new things about my natural surroundings. I love sharing random fun facts with everyone I come across.

Before coming to FHD, I was a Research Biologist and a Medical student. I knew about this opportunity for quite some time, given that my sister has had this career 2 years before me. However, with my deep rooted passion for biology and becoming a doctor, I never thought about switching. When my sister came to live with me for the summer, she talked me into trying it for the few months left of summer break. After the first week this career chose me, with the amazing people, leadership and opportunities for growth.

This career impacted my life by giving me the confidence to try new things, and changed my trajectory so that I can have a career that is meaningful, creates generational wealth. It also has allowed me to have a great work/home life balance; and has me on track to achieve the life I always imagined for myself.
