Alberto Mijarez

Hi, my name is Alberto! I started my career with Transparent Financial in June 2024. I was born in Mexico, raised in Chicago, and since 2021, I’ve been proud to call the beautiful mountains of Kentucky home. I’ve been married to my amazing wife, Estela, since 2011, and we have two wonderful kids—Alberto and Mikayla. Before joining Transparent, I spent two years working remotely managing and scheduling construction projects in the Houston, TX area. Most of my professional background, however, has been in the people business. I spent years in Human Resources and Training & Development with 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, the world’s largest junk removal company, back in Chicago.

I chose a career with Transparent Financial because of the real impact we get to make in people’s lives. It allows me to work for myself and my family, while being surrounded by a team of supportive, driven leaders who are committed to helping others reach their goals. This opportunity has given me control over my time and finances—and even more importantly, it’s helped me grow roots in my new community and serve the people around me. When I’m not working, you can find me out hiking with my family or traveling across the U.S. and Mexico.
